Have an expansive outlook in life

We are living a society of everything happening in an instant: you send an email and the other person (in their smart phone or laptop) gets it in a second; you make reservations to travel and you get the confirmation in a second; something happened in the other side of the world and we have the story in seconds...

Are you translating all these "instant responses" to other areas of your life? Things are happening extremely fast, and we are getting used to acquire everything in the spur of the moment. What about tomorrow?  What will be the result of your tomorrow if you are living "in the spur of the moment" every day?  This is not to say to live worrying about tomorrow....it is planning about tomorrow.

If you have read some of my writings, you know I believe in "living in the now" but that does not mean, living on the principle of "instant gratification."  It means....being present on what you do, engaging all your senses and perceptions.  It means not dwelling on the past, and (the key word) not "worrying" about the future, which is different from "planning" your future.

Make a list of the things you want to do in life and visualize  how you want to be in five years from now.  I do these exercises with many of my clients, and it is remarkable the effect it has on the way they start designing, and controlling, their own lives.

So,  who do you want to be in five years?

Start planning now and....make it happen!

Have a beautiful day,
Ligia/11
