Today I invite you to take a pause in your life and ask yourself the following question: I am living half asleep or fully awake? Am I living up to my full potential or am I living merely using half of my capacity? Am I Awake?
This reminds me of Siddartha Gautama (The Buddha) who became enlightened under the Boddhi Tree.
He became awake! After many years of doing self-search, he had the answer to many of his existential questions.
Because we are living in such a fast paced society, you may be just moving from transition to transition, from crisis to crisis, from moment to moment. Now, I ask you. Are you living each moment? Are you being fully connected to what is happening in everyone's lives? Are things just "happening" to you? Or are you making them a reality? Have you settled into a life that is not fulfilling, and are you just "walking by"?
If that is the case, stop! Life is a gift, and it shouldn't be wasted. Life is to be lived with passion, joy, love and hope. All of us were given this gift, and it is up to us how we unwrap it. The wrapping may be at times wrinkled...and still...it is our gift! It is precisely at those times, when the paper is all wrinkled, that we need to evaluate what kind of life we are living.
Is it one with meaning or one without purpose?
It is up to you what kind of life it is. Remember...you have choices and you can transform them!
Have a beautiful day,
Ligia/11
